For the Zelda Fans

Hey I'm big on the Legend of Zelda games, because they have original, beautifully unique, and intense ideas that make the storyline perfectly intoxicating. I mean, you get hooked the minute you start.

What really got me intrigued with the Legend of Zelda, was its masterful game, Ocarina of Time. This new version of computer graphics took the medieval times of socialization, mixed it with fantasy as well as some Japanese culture, to produce a game where I could perform real life performances such as fly fishing, horseback, as well as horseback archery, and fighting with knight style! The game has many challenges like puzzles, secret passages to stumble upon, finding keys spread throughout dungeons, crossing rivers of quicksand or lava, and figuring out certain enemy's weaknesses. The story was fantastic too; Save the princess and the kingdom from a really power-hungry tyrant with a blade of legendary proportions.

Original, yet gratifying.

How do you draw Anime?

For me, it has come naturally over a lifetime of watching japanese tv shows, copying pictures from japanese comics, and throwing my own style into the mix. However, for the beginner, Anime is something that you must take from a pro's perspective. A pro anime drawer will take you from a realistic design of the human body, and transform it into a realistic cartoon step by step. Pros in anime also know the most crucial part of drawing anime, that even a regular has very little understanding of most of the time, which is Body Graphs. An Anime Teacher will show you that when you take a realistic figure of a human being, but graphic the way you would with a cartoon, you'll get the creation Anime. Sounds easy, but its really hard to master. Even the best anime artists I've seen, don't make top grades in the Art World. The reason for this is that anime is the most competitive art movement out there. Anime demands unique hand crotique, keen eyes for details, a sharp yet creative mind, and a pace that keeps others in check. To show how complex even the simplicity of Anime is, it will take for me on average to draw a picture anime style, almost two hours. Now I can whip up any other great drawing in about thirty minutes, but Anime is very detailed! You could spend ten minutes on the nose, 1o minutes on the hair, ten minutes (if your lucky) on the eyes, 10 minutes on the body, and 30 on all the apparal! This is one of the reasons why I'm so fascinated with anime, because it demands more than what I've already been taught, and its beautiful! Take a long look at this picture to see what I mean:

Why I like Anime

Anime to me is unique for its cartoon-like features. It is a cartoon, but realistic. When you draw anime, your mind will go wild, because there are no limits to what you can do with it. Anime can be a good and a bad thing, it depends on how people wish to use it. When I was younger, anime was used to make awesome movies like Hercules, and the first Manga Bible. Nowadays, really sick people use anime as pornography. This is really sad to me, because some of the most beautiful drawings that I've seen are anime. Here let me show an example:

Anime can be something really awesome if you use it right, which is why I enjoy drawing it so much, I mean, the picture of the Princess riding her horse above, how awesome looking is that? These Japanese artists have such an amazing gift from God, and i'm not going to let them throw that all away in pornograophy, no way. My desire is to use this wonderful art style, called anime, and use it to make popular Christian video games and comics!

Your feelings are squished easily. If people pick you too fast you can be really sour, but if they wait for you, you can be very sweet.
